Victoria - where is your favourite place to jet ski?
« on: January 29, 2013, 06:33:03 AM »
Victoria has many awesome places to jet ski, so I have thrown together a video of some of our favourites. What is yours?

For me it has to be Promontory. This area is magical with so many highlights along the journey such as 5 mile beach, Sealers & Refuge Coves and the Southern Lighthouse (the most Southern tip of mainland Australia).

Don't think the people in Tasmania would agree with you there Nigel  rotflmao

I'm jealous Nigel.  Whilst I've holidayed in Tassie on the bike and saw some spectacular places to explore with the ski, I've never had the pleasure.  You're a lucky man.  I'd love to go back there for another holiday.  It's such a beautiful part of the world.

Hi JSC,
I'm a new member and want to get involved with groups going on regular outrides - I noticed one of the previous posts about around Phillip Island which I'm really keen to do.

Any advice / guide invitations warmly welcomed..

Cheers
Simon

Hi Big Sigh,

All I can say about Phillip Island is it is a must do ride if your within 500kms of San Remo or Hastings.
Both are good to leave from depending on which is closer to you.
Weather is of major importance to you too. You would be better off waiting for a day of stable low winds no afternoon sea "breezes" (which are category 1 in Vic).
There is so many things to see and do on this ride.
Cat Bay is one of my personal favorites. There's often huge waves rolling through. The next "must do" stop going anti clockwise is Seal Rocks which is unreal. I used to call the Baby Seals out and they would all swim around me like Puppies :) You need to make sure there is no  shk around first as I have seen them too.
It goes onto to magnificent scenery, Penguin Parade, Stunning water, great jumping all the way.
Give me a call if you like and I'll give you a few tips to look out for too.
