Geez these conditions seem to be spreading...
Current list of aliments are;
Yammitis...
FZitis...
FuZieR...

I am concerned that it will only be a matter of time before the above mutate and we have a serious outbreak of....

Brass_PX_monkey... (currently isolated to furry friends)
Or worse still... a potentially explosive phenomenon
Seadooiaheria...

Lol KK, no nothing lost today. Wow it was so much fun. The water after lunch was just perfect. The Bay is so quick to settle down when theres no wind.
I had yet another "best ride". It was great to see df836 riding the FZ and doing it easy in over 1 meter to Portarlington.
There were Yammys everywhere today. It seems we havent had a new Seadoo born into pwcfun for a while? Hopefully there will be one soon.
Damo's Ski is absolutely remarkable. It kept up with me and Monkey in drags and only used half the fuel! Well done Damo- youll get many great rides from that one, btw since when do you throw a Ski around like that  dnc

Heres some pics to admire the water for those of you too well to ride today.

df323, df836, Monkey and I pulled out at around 3.30 but Damo, Reb & Wilddog decided that a run to Portarlington didnt do it for them so they set off for coffee at Mornington. wh

Ditto Monkey - That was a great ride & thanks for organising it.

Stage 1 was 7 riders (2 Doo's & 5 Yammies). The route was St Kilda, RAAF Point Cook, Werribee Sth then direct line to Portarlington for brunch. On the return run Damo put on a great show of throwing his new Yammie all over the place while we all looked on and cheered.

The conditions just kept getting better as the day wore on so there was lots of WOT runs going on.

By the time we all returned to St Kilda marina 108 Kms had been clocked up.

Stage 2 was an  "invitation stakes" for extra ride time for any who were able to stay out. A ride down the other side of the Bay seemed a good idea so 3 riders (Wild Dog, Damo Yamo & Reb) set off for Mornington.

We needed to watch the clock as it was getting on in the afternoon, we wanted to have something to eat at the Mornington cafe & of course we had to be back at St Kilda by sunset. So a fairly blistering pace was called for. After a nice stop at Mornington Cafe I raced towards Frankston & pulled up only to find myself completely alone........ Where's Damo & Wild Dog ?? Could not see them anywhere.. Headed out from the coast then cruised back towards Mornington, looked everywhere and was finally relieved to spot two Yammie sprays. They had come across 7 Dolphins way back near Mornington and stayed for a while.

By this stage of the day I was more intent on watching the sun & the clock and distance to go......

Anyway it was more fast runs towards the safety of the coast, however the sun did beat us by 9 Kms.....

What a fabulous day out for a total of 195 Kms (Stage 1 & 2).

Thanks all - as usual you were all terrific company.

The Stage 2 Trip - St Kilda to Mornington & return

Highlights:

1.  "Bathroom Glass" conditions (where the water has undulations and troughs but is glassy smooth to look at).
2.  Nice stop at Mornington Cafe for pies, sausage rolls and cappuccinos.
3.  Wild Dog & Damo get side-tracked by 7 Dolphins.
4.  Reb thinks WD & Damo are directly behind him and then can't find them.....
5.  The setting sun looks stunning.
6.  The conditions change rapidly from glass to 1 metre and higher waves with a  strong wind head on.
7.  After the sun goes down, Wild Dog needs to add the 5 litres he's carried all day to make it home......  Being a  nice guy he didn't add it earlier just in case someone else needed it !!  To put his super economical Yammie into perspective I have already added 50 Litres for the same trip (20 from front hatch & another 30 at St Kilda marina).
8.  We arrive safely back at St Kilda (elated) after a great day out.

 hlo All

Had a great time Yesterday  dcr

Thanks Monkey  mmq for organizing such a great day to be sick

Had some reservations after my last ride there 9 days earlier  ag But what a day it turned out to be  jpy jpy

This is a great group of people to ride with

Yes when we left mornington we all left together but after a while Reb  rsf was a little a head i was in middle  cb Damo behind so i thought, but i look behind no Damo

Reb  rsf1 was ahead but could not catch him , so turn round to find Damo , There was Damo surrounded by a pod of dolphins that had took to his ski.

Damo tried to take some pictures but his camera had gone flat

We then left it was getting late and Reb  rbgf  will be wondering what had happened, all was good .

Yes i didn't quite make the day on a full tank had to put me 5lts in 4 kms for St kilda, the beepep started going off just after we left Mornington

Thanks for a great day  thx
