Thankyou to everyone who rode and did the ramp stuff today. I also feel extremely lucky to know you guys and just when you think its not able to get better the "uber cool" Sandra joins us  wc

Heres some pics for those of you who missed out on the action. I wish you all could have been there and hope you do soon  chr

Oh and I forgot to mention, df323  old was hooning around today (doing almost 50 in the middle of the bay) and of course we all got pulled over by the police because of it.  bnd

5 Skis cruising across the bay today - St Kilda marina to Portarlington pier.

The bay is never dull with an assortment of cargo ships and a new Navy ship (built at nearby Williamtown) undergoing 'sea trials' plus yachties and fishermen out and about enjoying the day.

Here's a few extra pics

Concerning torches..... Good question. The 'Safety Handbook' used in conjunction with the licence test only states the following:

"PWC's must carry a waterproof buoyant torch at all times. A torch can be used to signal the shore or other vessels if you encounter difficulties."

12 of us got pulled over on a previous occasion and naturally there were a lot of different torches among the group. The W.Police ALWAYS ask if you have a torch and seem to be happy with any torch so long as it works.

Might give them a call coz i'd prefer to carry a smaller LED type than the one i currently have.

Hey Reb, I see you met Jens sister at the ramp. Nice girl too but nowhere near as tall as Jen. Who was she with? I heard she's been hanging round with some Sven guy.
