Im starting to see why you guys start so early, i took the wife to dromana on the back from frankston, we started just after 12pm and it wasn't the easiest of rides. had i been by myself it would have been a bit easier.
We were going to go to sorrento to see if you guys were still about but by dromana she had had enough and wanted to go home. One day i'll be up early enough for a ride with you guys.

Still love those maps.

Rebel can you draw in Mordi Creek to Point richards at Portarlinton, to just off safety beach, back up to frankston and then the ride as you had it (except I missed the Barwon heads section I only got to the rip). Would love to know the K's i did on the day.

G'day George......

Seems your Saturday 03Jan09 would have looked as shown below

1. Green- Early start before before main ride:   Mordi/ Point Richards/ Safety Beach/ Frankston  (102 Km)
2. Magenta- Rode with the main group from Frankston to Sorrento and return: (88 Km)
3. Green- Sorrento/ Rye/ Sorrento to check on ski that had a problem:(16 Km)
4. Green- Sorrento/ The Rip/ Sorrento (but not to Barwon Heads):  (20 Km)

That adds up to 226 Kms.......

That's a real good ride George   clp  clp

Excellent Rebell.

I don't think i quite got that close to Safety beach on the way back from Portalington (OK I was lost). Though to make up for it I rode back to Mordi Creek to retrieve after dropping off richard and Monkey at Frankston.
