Safety Beach Boat Ramp

Address
The entrance to the Safety Beach Ramp is on Point Napean Road, Safety Beach. 

The ramp
The ramp has access for three Boats or Skis at a time. It is a concrete ramp and once you reach the red post at the peer it drops and turns into sand.

Car Parking
Plenty of spaces but fills up quick during summer.

Fee's
The fee is $11 With payment at a ticket machine
Pay $110 and get free parking for a year! ($110 Deal works for the whole of mornington)

Hazards
Ramp is not very steep, Many boats Propellers hit the concrete when backing into water
Makesure when backing into the water that you do not hit the pier
Waiting for 2-3 hours in summer to launch the boat or ski.

Facilities
General Store (Closer than the BP, Make sure you don't get ripped off!)
Boat Store Next to General Store (This is the place to fix your ski, if needed)
Toilet Block Situated 100m on the Right of the ramp (Grappa says they look scary as!)

that is a funny part of the beach in the summer i go down with a can and sit on the peer and watch the people launch from the boat ramp and you see all the jet skis scratch and dint there hulls and then the owner of the ski or boat losers it and some scary words are said and i laugh...the main problem i find with that boat ramp is sand, and the stupid hoons in that area in the summer! utj

yeh grappa when we were on the pier that hot day som guy smashed his boat it was funny, then wen i went 2 weeks ago when it was really choppy this guy on an rxp all most broke this guys legs accelerated into the pies and his feet were hanging over but he moved away in time that poor rxp front bumber boke off and so dod the jet!!!!

wat about a guy goes down half way down the ramp complete newbie and with rollers and he pushes it off and onto the concrete and the skis not even in water and he scrapes it along the concrete. its funny but mean to laugh. hahahhaahah

the safety beach boat ramp had work done to it
it had new wooden posts
i cam out one day on my bike to notice surfie type tradesmen in wet suits with dreads locks in the water with tools and machinery
