Lakes Entrance Boat Ramp
« on: April 22, 2009, 07:42:57 PM »
There are 3 boat ramps on the north arm of Lakes Entrance all approx 200m apart (give or take).
One is a shallow dual lane concrete ramp.
One is deeper dual lane concrete ramp.
The last is a single deeper concrete ramp.

Address
The Dual Lane Ramps are located off Marina Pde as pictured above. I never went to the deep single ramp so I wont comment about that one.

The ramps
The ramps have very easy access.
The shallow one is recommended for dinghy's and pwc only.
The deeper dual ramp is where most fishermen launch from and this one has the fish cleaning table for the fishermen and is more busier.

Car Parking
Plenty of room to park adjacent to the ramps.

Fee's
No fee required - they were both free!

Hazards
Local wildlife will ask you for food.
No real hazards for pwc's. I used rope on the deeper ramp's pier.
Overhead power lines a hazard for boats with masts.

Facilities
Both ramps have toilet facilities and ample parking.
The only reason to live life is to enjoy it
