Dan I don't know if your ski has one but I bet it will as its a USA requirement to have one check your parts listing.

Yes any ski will go better with out it (4 stroke ) as no back fire it will let more air in giving better bottom end.

I looked on worx.com.au don't list a ribbon delete kit so you should be able to just take it out.
On the spark everything is plastic so you have to fit a blank to give it something to clamp on to

Had a look at mine, how do you remove them, do you remove the housing and drill the rivets out to get to them?  cfee
