Battery Drain - Help needed
« on: September 04, 2016, 01:26:33 AM »
I'm new to jet skiing & have run into a problem with my 2003 Kawasaki jet ski. It ran fine until this year, but now a warning buzzer/light is on, & the jet ski drains the battery. It starts & runs fine, but only long enough for a fully charged new battery to drain. I want to troubleshoot the problem before forking out the cash in a repair shop. Anyone have an idea where I should start?

Voltage regulator which under normal circumstances will recharge the battery?

Hi Denise, dont panic. It's probably an easy fix like fordgt says.

If you're anywhere near Arundel you can bring it into and we'll have a look at it for you. You won't be charged for anything until you give the ok :)

We're in the same place as the Jet Ski Club - Club House @ 5/7 Ereton Drive and are open 7am - 7pm usually, or you can call me for after hours drop off m. 0449 077 747
