Hey Fred I'm back. I might try to head out  somewhere tomorrow afternoon weather permitting. Will watch the weather next week too for a early one depending on work load

Hi Guys, after selling my boat in 2015 I bought a Ski and set it up for fishing but after a misadventure with a dirt bike didn’t get it out until Xmas.   I live north Brisbane but am keen to get out and chase some Spanish Macks anywhere from sunshine coast to gold coast  and no issues going off shore.  Look forward to catching up for a fish.

Hi Aaron
nice choice of ski for fishing.

I created a little What'sApp group called "Jetfish " so that we didn't clog up this forum, and have a couple of people from around Brisbane on that message service that want to fish. If we are going out we post a simple message and if anyone can or wants to come they can. So far just one other guy and I have been out together a few times now, but it's certainly helped us both gain confidence in ski fishing as well as what the skis can handle in terms of weather and distance on fuel. We've also worked out that we have a lot to learn about when the fish are biting and where!

Private message me a mobile number and I'll add you to the group and you can keep an eye on where and when we are going out.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Guys,

No problem with clogging up the forum. Its here to help everyone. Auhazie, I'm sure you understand that this is  a resource that takes much time and effort to maintain. We'd appreciate your support to put something back into the sport and post some handy info for all the newbies.

Thanks for your help.

See you on the water for some FUN!

No dramas Mandy, thanks for clarifying. There are however some things that I would prefer to keep a little privacy on...secret fishing spots, departure times etc. Several reasons to do with who might be watching outside of the jetski-friendly people! The rest-any tips or experiences-  I promise to post!

Hi there, my name is Rodney and I'm going to try to get out fishing on either the 1st or 2nd of April. I'm new to fishing QLD and would like to maybe tag along with some others to learn some of the tricks to Jetski fishing.
I'm at Pimpama so usually go out at Jacobs Well but I'm happy to travel.

I am Brisbane north side so usually fish out of Bribie, Scarborough or Mooloolaba  but will travel for fish.  I don’t tend to fish estuary as the tug is the drug so want to chase mackerel and other pelagic species in summer and snapper in the winter
