Jet Ski Social Ride Fishing Time
« on: March 06, 2017, 03:56:36 PM »
Righto gentlemen it’s time to get out amongst them  wh. Great conditions forecast for Saturday at present but unfortunately I have commitments on Saturday  ts. Good conditions forecast for Sunday morning coinciding with an almost full moon br and a making tide means  clp I am going fishing.   Plan to head out from Spinnaker sound at 6am to run over to the shipping beacons for a explore then dependent on conditions out to the cape or into the pearl channel.  Mostly trolling with some spinning for surface feeders but will probably take a little bit bait just in case.  All welcome to join in, if we head out wide of Cape Moreton  you will need an EPIRB as well as the other mandatory safety equipment.
Cheers
Aaron

Bummer. But I might give it a crack tomorrow inshore if the weather doesn't get any worse.

Btw what's the travel time from Spinnaker sound to the beacons roughly at cruising speed?

I would think about 25 min. Just had look at Sundays forecast and if it stays as predicted might head out to the front of Bribie and over to the beacons. Will confirm tomorrow
Cheers
