QUANGXI, CHINA – The Chinese Motorboats Association in cooperation with the Qinzhou Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the 2013 Asian Aquabike Qinzhou Grand Prix to be held on October 26-27, 2013 in Qinzhou, China.  The event will be a first class international event and one of many large events to be held in China in the future.  The event will feature a cash purse of $1,000,000 CNY (which in US dollars is over $162,000 at the current exchange rate) making it one of the highest paying watercraft racing events in history.

The event could provide the opportunity of a lifetime for racers throughout the world to attend a first class international event for minimal cost and visit beautiful China.  The event has an incredible incentive package for participants and team crew members including complimentary hotel, food, transportation while in China and other perks while in China as well as a paid travel allowance.  Shipping of boats to China and back will be provided from select locations in the world and fuel for participants’ boats will be provided as well.  For those racers who may find it difficult to get their boat to China due to commitments to other events, the Chinese organizer has 36 boats for rent starting at only $400 US.  For the 2013 event there is also no entry fee.  Excited yet????

The Chinese Association, host cities and government are serious about the sport of Aquabike and have several other large events in the planning stages for 2014 and beyond.  The event is sanctioned by the Chinese Motorboats Association and run according to the association’s rules.
