Hi ya SoleRider,

wc to the best sport on earth!

That budget will buy you an awesome Ski. I'd look at a Yamaha in that value range. There are heaps of awesome Skis around atm.

Dont listen to anyone that tries to tell you a Ski is "old" at 100 hours. This is complete rubbish. Most are barely run in.

Here is an article you may want to read; http://thejetski.club/jet-ski-questions-answers-discussions/it's-that-'which-ski-to-buy'-time-of-the-year-again!/

Once you have your Ski you may want to read this article. It was written a while ago and still has heaps of info plus a few updates; http://thejetski.club/jet-ski-questions-answers-discussions/the-new-persons-guide-to-jet-ski-clothing-accessories-and-handy-equipment/

Hi Solerider, I'm from down under and went through the same scenario as you. Knew nothing about ski's or mechanics. Got great advice from Mandy and other she recommended. My suggestion is look at the ski get it checked over by Mandy or others she recommends before you buy. On a second hand ski you don't know how it's been treated before you buy it. I was lucky enough to buy a new one. Being a member of the club is the first right move talking to the right people. Good luck. Kevin / Melbourne
