Jet Ski Social Ride Paradise Point to Cook island, tweed river
« on: August 30, 2018, 06:43:29 PM »
Sunday 9th September 2018
What we'll do
Weather permitting:

We will leave the Paradise Point boat ramp at 8:00am, head out through the gold coast seaway and then down the coast to Cook Island. We will then anchor to the public mooring points and do some snorkelling. For those who don't want to snorkel, you will be able to chill out and enjoy the view while we snorkel, plus you can keep an eye out for sharks for us ;). After cook Island we will then head into the tweed river and to the Chinderah Tavern for an early lunch. After lunch we will head back to the Paradise Point boat ramp with a stop at Currumbin Creek if the conditions are right.

Meet at Paradise Point Boat Ramp at 7:45am, depart at 8:00am. This is about a 110km trip and through open water so consider your fuel requirement.

What to bring:

Fuel if required, Water, sunscreen and towel. Snorkeling gear if you want to snorkel. Rope to tie up to moorings or other skis already moored.

Hey, I’m keen to join, but I’ll launch from Fingal and meet you guys at the island? About 9am? I’ll be riding a green and black Kawasaki. What do I search for to find you guys there? Cheers. Vlad.

No, I don’t think you’ll find unleaded on water, maybe at Tweed Marina but most likely only diesel for commercial vessels

Hey Guys, There's a BP just a short walk south under the bridge for the highway.

Just carry some extra fuel and use it if you need it. If you get into it on the river you may need to  rotflmao

See you on the water for some FUN!
