Jet Ski Information Jet ski loosing power
« on: August 25, 2018, 01:01:02 PM »
Wondering if anybody can help me?
Last week I went for a ride using choke with no throttle all of a sudden the ski stops no power no electrics. Safety key was still attached took me a minute taking key on and off to get power back, I put my ski back on the trailer, I then went through the basics and started with the battery and tightend down the battery terminals. Had lunch then put the ski back in the water started her up before taking it off the trailer everything was working rode for about 15 minutes taking my family for a ride, then all of a sudden no power nothing couldn't get her to restart, got a tow back too shore on the trailer pulled the bungs. \then i reattached the key had power back ???not wanting to put it back in the water again came home washed her down then flushed the pump with the hose attached the ski started no problem.

So I am going back to Toowoomba seadoo to hopefully see if they can find something on the computer. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Cameron

Decent chance its your key or dess post. If you have a second key or a learner key (yea boring, i know), take it for a spin, see what happens. If its the key, you can get a new one programmed for about 100 bucks from memory
See ya at the Gutter Bar

Looks like its a computer program all the basic operations have been ghosted waiting on a program reboot from Sydney so we reprogram the keys and ski
